The 2024-2025 State Swim Meet took place over the weekend, in Great Falls.
In the Class A/B Ranks, the Whitefish Girls would finish 2nd overall with the boys 6th.
Billings Central won both the boys and girls team titles.
Havre Boys took 2nd with Polson 3rd while the Havre girls finished in 3rd.
Taking a look at how the Whitefish girls performed:
Leisel Klein would finish 2nd place in both the 200 and 500 Yard Freestyle.
Gretel Vine would finish 5th in the 200 Yard Free and 4th in the 100 Yard Free.
Avery Theis was 2nd in both the 50 Yard Free and 100 Yard Backstroke.
Sophie McDermott was 5th in the 500 Yard Free and Georgia Morell was 6th in the 100 Yard Butterfly.
The Whitefish girls would take 2nd in both the 200 Yard Medley Relay and the 200 Yard Free Relay. They were 3rd in the 400 Yard Free Relay.
Taking a look at how the Whitefish boys performed:
Gavin Sibson led the way finishing 4th in the 500 Yard Free and 6th in the 200 Yard Free.
The Whitefish boys finished 5th in the 200 Yard Free Relay and were 6th in the 200 Yard Medley Relay.
