The 2025 Russ Pilcher Top Ten Track and Field Meet took place on Tuesday.

This meet features the best-of-the-best that Montana has to offer as players and teams gather from across the state for an electrifying day.

The 25th annual meet took place at MCPS Stadium in Missoula.

Both Whitefish boys and girls track and field performers posted some outstanding times.

Simon Douglas is on a tear right now.

Last week, at the MCPS Invite, the Bulldog Senior broke a 21 year old record in the 800. Douglas beat the previous mark, set in 2004 by Matt Helgath, by a whole second.

On Tuesday, Douglas did it again, setting a new Russ Pilcher Top Ten record in the 800. He finished with a time of 1:54.44, breaking the previous record of Henry Ballinger of Helena of 1:54.66 set back in 2023.

Colby Minton took 3rd in the 400 with a time of 51.15 while the Dawgs 4x400 Relay team finished 4th with a time of 3:26.53.

On the girls side, Ginger Bergland would lead the way for the Lady Dawgs.

Bergland won the 300 Hurdles with a time of 46.27. Bergland, just a Freshman, is ranked No. 1 in all classes in the state, in the event.

Rachael Wilmot finished in 2nd place in both the 100 and 200.

The Girls 4x100 Relay team took 7th while the 4x400 Relay team took 5th.

Up Next: The Whitefish Track teams will play host to the historic ARM Meet, this Saturday.
